EMBODIED PRESENCE

Embodied Presence explores the body as a site of knowledge in a culture that often values thought over sensation.

The making process was documented through B&W analog photography.

The exhibited format is a projected video which layers multiple moments from a longer movement experiment, drawing on the idea that past, present, and future coexist. As performers overlap in time, their movements are projected onto a drawing made during the same process. When viewers move close, their own shadows enter the work, inviting bodily awareness, movement, and attention to presence within the space.
